The two measurement systems used most frecuently throughout the world are the English and metric systems. Both systems provide units for measuring lenght,  weight, volume, temperature and time.

English units of lenght:

Inches (pulgadas). Una pulgada=2.54 cm

Feet (pies). Un pie=30.48 cm

Yards (yardas). Una yarda= 0.914 m

Miles (millas). Una milla=1.609 km

Ounces (onzas). Una onza=28.35 g

1 quart = 2 pints = 4 cups

1 cup = 8 fluid ounces

Temperature Conversions

Convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees using these fórmulas:

C=(F-32):1.8

F=(Cx1.8)+32
